About Us
Hard To Port is a registered, non-profit marine conservation organisation based in Northern Germany.
Since our funding in 2014, Hard To Port has grown into one of the most dedicated and effective advocacy organisations for marine wildlife in Northern Europe.
Our Mission
We cultivate compassion – Hard To Port is a loud and passionate advocate for all ocean life.
We take action – With many years of marine conservation activism experience, we know what it takes to run effective campaigns, namely creativity, continuity, passion, perseverance, and patience. Together with our network of supporters, we initiate and realize effective conservation campaigns with the aim to protect marine wildlife and ecosystems from human harm. To achieve our goals, Hard To Port utilizes a variety of approaches and strategies: investigative work, protests, public outreach campaigns, educational events, etc.
We encourage participation – We need all hands on deck to create positive change. We invite everyone to get actively behind our mission and take a stand for our blue planet.
Our Vision
We envision a world in which our societies adopt a more compassionate, respectful, and appreciative mindset towards marine life: a mindset that leads to responsible, resolute and constructive conservation actions that will help to protect and conserve our blue planet.
